Blackjack variations: Super Fun 21

Super Fun 21 is a blackjack variation which has many features in common with traditional version, but of course it has some differences as well.

To begin with, it is played with standard 52 cards deck. The amount of decks may vary. It can be played with one, two or six decks.

The card values are as follows:

Ace – 1 or 11

10, J, Q, K – 10

2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 – according to the card number

Player has – 2 face up cards

Dealer has – 1cards face up, and 1 card face down

Options:

Hit – ask for one more card;

Stand – means you’re satisfied with what you have and you don’t want more cards;

Split – player is allowed to split pairs up to 4 times in this blackjack variation;

Double – Player can double the bet, at any point.

The amount of money doubles automatically if a player has 5 or more cards which in total give 21 (except after doubling down).

Late Surrender: Player is allowed to go with this option at any point, even if he/she has already hit, split or doubled. If you do so, you can have a half of your original bet back.

Automatic win: Player automatically wins if he/she has 6 or more cards which give 20 in total, even if the dealer has blackjack (except for the cases, when a player has doubled down). Also, if the player and the dealer both have blackjack, it also means that the players win.

Payouts: This blackjack variation is paid only with even money, except for the cases when the blackjack is in diamonds, then the payout is 2 to 1.

House edge (dealer has soft 17):

  • 1 deck game – 1,16 %
  • 2 decks game – 1,30%
  • 6 decks game – 1,40%

Probability to win: If it’s a single deck game, then the probability that player is going to win is 0,3% and that the house is going to win – 9,2%.

Like in any other blackjack variations there’re certain strategies, which can increase your chances to win, if you apply them in the game.
